Blessings!

Let’s take a moment and count our blessings! We tend to get so caught up in our schedules and to do lists that we forget to take time to thank God for all that He does for us. We’ve all heard the phrase, “Stop and smell the roses.” God gave us beauty around every corner if we only stop to look. It’s easy to rush along with our day and think nothing amazing happened; it was just another day. But if we stop and truly think about all the things we saw, the places we were, the people we talked to or thought about, the miracle of the day we are in, the amazing grace of our Lord and Savior in our lives… The list goes on and on! There’s never a day when God is not with us and providing His
unconditional love and grace to His sons and daughters.

I love reading the Beatitudes. As you know, these are found beginning with Matthew 5:2

and he began to teach them.
He said:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

This helps to remind me that God is always Blessing me and all my brothers and sisters in Christ. We are His Blessed
Children! Rejoice and be amazed by the day!

Your sister in Christ,
Teri Hunt
