Blessings for Everyone

Luke 1:30-31
The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.  And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus.”

Many times in our lives we take items for granted.  We expect to receive ‘stuff’, for no reason, just because.  So at times, we become very self-centered and only think about our small circle in life.

I challenge you on these few days before Christmas to:

  • Say “I Love You” more often
  • Say “Thank You” to people you don’t even know
  • Hold open a door for a stranger
  • Provide gifts via the Angel Tree
  • Hug someone
  • Spend time with your family and friends
  • Volunteer at a soup kitchen or support a food drive
  • Go Christmas Caroling
  • Give a little extra to the church
  • Praise Jesus Christ, the Lord Almighty

After looking outward, you will feel the grace of God.  Sharing your gifts, praises and blessings with others is sharing the message of Jesus Christ.

May the love of baby Jesus surround your home with peace and joy,
Steve Haller
