We recently attended the Delaware County Fair and saw a Justin Moore concert. Justin is becoming a pretty famous Country and Western singer and has one song named, “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away”.
Two of the songs refrain lines follow:
If heaven wasn’t so far away
I’d pack up the kids and go for the day
Now how cool would that be to take a ride to see a long lost family member, a famous politician or a sports star? Or better yet Jesus Christ?
In real life we don’t have to meet Jesus in person, he is everywhere. He’s the birds, grass, mountains, air and everything created. Close your eyes and take it all in. Our creator is awesome.
God has given us the greatest gift we can ever receive….eternal life. While it may be a little foolish to take a ride to see Jesus Christ, I know as Christians we’ll be seeing him in heaven.
